Tim Smith-Stewart is a Seattle based theater artist. Tim has directed, generated and performed multiple contemporary performance pieces. Recent performances include Geometrically Frustrated Ferromagnets, and Saints and Sockmonkies. Recent acting credits include Milk Milk Lemonade at Washington Ensemble Theater as well as Electra and Much Ado About Nothing at Seattle Shakespeare. Tim is also co-director of Orion Out Loud, a community based theater project created with homeless youth at the James W. Ray Orion Center. Currently, Tim is writing and co-directing The Council, a dance/theater piece with choreographer Markeith Wiley and The New Animals, premiering March 9th at Annex Theater. Tim holds a BFA in theater from Cornish College of the Arts where he was the recipient of the William Randolph Hearst and Kreielsheimer Scholarships.
